Upgraded model of the Five Star 30 for 32 size engines with all aluminium box frame and all moving levers fitted with double ball bearings in order to ensure precise movement without backlash. Head used was the FS plus rotor head redesigned with the flybar underneath the main rotor. The helicopter did not require any airframe upgrades but some extra's could be purchased, first was a hex starter shaft for use with an electric cone starter fitted into the helicopters start socket which itself turned the engine through a one way bearing. The next was a special FS S-30T silencer and if you really wanted a 'pocket rocket' there was a conversion kit to fit the larger OS 46SF-H engine as noted above.
'46' conversion parts with 9 tooth drive gear
The 30V was also adapted to use the larger OS four stroke engines of both 48 and 71 sizes; not sure if these were marketed outside of Japan.
Last version of the 30 updated for e-ccpm control.
